My Story

Hi Sue here I am not an athletic person, just a working  mum running around and both work and at home. But I was told about this charity and I never usual get involved I usually donate to friends pages or charities. But this one I was drawn to by its simple message.

https://www.afrikids.org/

"AfriKids believes in the rights of all children, everywhere and that they should be valued, protected and met by all"

They  listen to local people and empower them to make sustainable changes themselves so that every child in northern Ghana can be happy, healthy, safe and in school.
This is all we want for our children. All the money raised will go to children by keeping them healthy, safe and in school, teaching them about their rights and giving them a voice in decisions that affect them.Around half of all families in northern Ghana live in poverty and basic services like quality education and healthcare are limited. These pressures can soon put children at risk – of life on the streets or needing to work to support their families at the cost of their education, which could help them secure their own future. Everyone deserves an education. Led entirely by local people - is helping families lift themselves out of poverty, empowering communities. All money goes to this amazing charity.

"Somewhere along the way,we must learn that there is nothing greater than to do something for others"                        Martin Luther KIng

So I will  train to complete this run 10k on Monday 27th May. Run proudly with your help and support. Please can you help me raise £200.00 any funds to reach this total will help.
